The Ministry of Education and National Institute of Education in Sri Lanka are seeking 5 skilled Australians to share their skills to support the development of a high-quality, inclusive and accessible school system for all.
The Australian Volunteers for International Development (AVID) program is an Australian Government initiative. The program offers a range of opportunities for the Australian community to share skills and foster linkages with people and organisations in developing countries to make a difference as part of Australia's overseas aid program. So why should you volunteer with the AVID Program?
Whether you're ready to apply or simply wish to browse what's available - each month there are new, exciting opportunities for you to volunteer overseas. Assignments open for applications on the 1st of each month, and close at 5.30pm, Canberra time, on the 21st of the same month.
Attending an AVID Information Session gives you the opportunity to hear from our returned volunteers and Scope Global staff members, as well as have your questions answered. Information Sessions will be held in all states and territories in February and March 2015. Register to attend today!
