Here is your chance to take your skills in Information Technology to the Philippines and support the The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Lamut to provide a more effective public management system that will change lives!

The Local Government Unit (LGU) of Lamut along with five clustered LGUs in Ifugao is in charge of the planning and development of the Municipality. It formulates integrated economic, social, physical, and other development plans and policies for consideration by the local government development council. Some of the projects implemented by the LGU comprise campaigns and plans on climate change, tourism, and solid waste management.

The MIS officer will Build host organisation staff capacity to establish a Management Information System (MIS), and also work with staff to install a Business Processing and Licensing System. Additionally you will enhance the host organisation ability to improve its One-Stop Shop Processing service.

This role will support a more efficient delivery of local government services to the residents of Lamut while ensuring the transparency, efficiency and effectiveness of the public management system. It will also enable an improved retrieval of information for sound decision making.
